Your argument is invalid. They're aware of the abilities? lmao come on. Only reason we can beat the raids is because we can respawn. No one has ever beaten any raid on launch without dying.. To argue that guardians would already know the limitations and abilities of gorgons or any other raid mobs is ridiculous. To be fair we don't even truly know much about the guardians due to destiny a lack luster story.

Edited by Savathûn: 7/1/2015 4:36:51 AMMY argument is invalid? I have a distinct feeling I'm going to lose braincells trying to reason with you, but here goes. -Yes. They died to get this knowledge. EXACTLY. That very important, nay, crucial knowledge Goku will not have. -Uh... So you go from deriding Guardians for being weak in comparison to Dumb Superma- errrr, Goku and stating that if THEY can do it, he certainly can, to stating that they didn't manage it without dying loads of times? Who are you arguing against, here? Me, or yourself? Because you literally just countered your first post with your most recent. Simply put, if Goku does not destroy the Oracles in time, he will lose. As he'll be dealing with the Templar and likely focusing on it and its minions, he will likely not do anything to deal with the Oracles. Additionally, the Gorgons may see him and erase him, as Goku might simply zip over the maze instead of going through it, his passage attracting their attention while he ignores them entirely and neglects to kill them.
-
Goku has died multiple times as well so who is to say he couldn't gain the knowledge himself?
-
If he dies, he loses. You understand that's the definition of a loss, right? He won't have a fireteam, he won't have a ghost. If he dies, done. I'm sure he could -blam!-ing blaze through it like no tomorrow if he knew all the rules, but, in this scenario, he does not.
-
I just don't think it's simple enough for him to be erased through time by oracles or be killed by gorgons. His speed should be enough for him to just "zip" by before he can even be spotted. As far as oracles go, if we can figure out to shoot them then I don't see why he couldn't either. I mean the oracles spawn an show you their location. He isn't just going to stare at them.
-
He could zip through, but he likely won't. I can sprint, and could sprint every time I want to get somewhere, but I do not. Goku will most probably move at a fairly moderate pace, simply because he has no REASON to blow past like a -blam!-ing fighter-jet. And, uh, Goku does not have radar. You're aware of that, right?
-
He has the ability to sense power levels
-
From Saiyans and from similar humanoid beings that share Goku's style of energy. The Vex are weird robots from another universe with colonies of prokaryotes in their endoskeletons. I'm not even sure they'd show up on the thing. Additionally, I'm pretty sure he has to be looking at the entity in question for it to register.
-
Edited by Krazed Islander: 7/1/2015 5:15:30 AMHe's sensed powered levels before even seeing them many times in show. I'm pretty sure the androids in dbz were sensed out because of their power levels as well and they're robots.
-
But they're not even remotely the same as the Vex. I really doubt they'd even register in the same way.
-
Whatever you say.
-
DBZ's androids are advanced almost to the degree of biotechnology, and possess the ability to channel the same power Goku and others do to produce their energy-blasts and whatnot. Vex? They're metal frames with weird, prokaryotic sludge in them. Their weapons do not POSSESS power, they draw it from somewhere else entirely. So why exactly WOULD the Vex rate on Goku's power-scale? The only ones I can see showing up for him are the Minotaurs, as they possess energy-shielding, the Templar, and Atheon.

I'm just gonna end it by saying there are way too many variables involved.
