It happens because folks quit out. Its unavoidable, usually it means a free token. Although 3 times last night I dropped into a match when the other team had all but won. Stayed in no medallion.

Good luck, I've just started to bend over and let Bungie's matchmaking take me for a free medallion at this point...no point in fighting back when its 15000 to 5000 drop ins constantly.

8 RepliesI got put into a match where the opposite team triple capped and heavy spawned as soon as I spawned in. Left the match instantly. Before that I got spawned into a match losing by 4k. Left instantly. Got spawned into a match where the other team already had 19k. What, like 9 months since launch, and Bungie hasn't made a single attempt to fix when you spawn into matches ( almost ALWAYS right after heavy spawns) and the obnoxious amounts of lag that gets worse with every single return of IB. I know this part is Offtopic. But seeing things like this and people still want to throw money at Bungie for the TTK DLC ? Good god.

Also even if I'm on top and get "on the bright side" medal I'm not even mad because I just shat all over than clan by myself. Honestly best feeling right there. Had a 5 man nova bomb last night on some idiot heavy ammo campers!!

1 ReplyI actually prefer it. Come it right at the end of a match, get a medallion in 2-3 min. Get that 2-3 times then get into a lobby where you have a chance at cashing em in w a win. Lol.

2 RepliesIf people would stop quitting as soon as they start loosing, this wouldn't be a problem. It's not like those open spot pop up on winning teams. Duh. Hell I've been put in games as early as a 3k/4k from people quitting out.

Won my first 4 and then luck had shit the bed. Guard a point let them funnel in and execute but my last 6 teams just want to run around for most kills(fail tactic).

Played with a full fireteam of 34s with Thorn earlier. It was hilarious!

Use the forums to grab a full fireteam so you're forced to be put into a beginning match, plus it's alot better for winning, I had a 10 killstreak on my first IB game last night, and we won consistently after that

People need to learn you basicly get points for losing in IB, unless you lose 5+ straight Then maybe anyone with a brain wouldnt quit if thier teams losing People like you are creating the problem Wish they stopped selling the game at christmas time

3 RepliesI don't mind if I lose. What bothers me is these mofo'rs that spend 15 min in a match and can't even get 1000 points under their name.. What's even worse, most of them have the 9-0 trials emblem on. Wtf is this shit? I've been put in to shitty matches.. Every on going match that has started, I am put on the losing team. By the end of it, I am in 1st or 2nd place on the losing team. I am not that good, but damn there are some terrible players on here.

1 ReplyI had the same keep happening to me last night, normally I don't mind so much but it was dropping me into more losing games than fresh ones. I think they're having some connection issues with iron banner right now and a lot of people are getting disconnected and therefore the game is constantly trying to fill those open slots. I had one match where I was only there for a couple seconds and lost the match, literally didn't take one step and the match was over.
