It is fun, you just can't run in guns blazing, you need to be smart about what you do.
Keep your back to the outside of the map, always run exotic primaries
The best shotguns for Cruicible are the felwinters, matador 64, and the party crashed +1
The ash factory rocket launcher seems to be the best right now, it drops from crucible but I have yet to see this happen

You don't need to run exotic primaries..... Just a weapon you feel comfortable with

No exotic primary, this mentality is why the thorn and the last word are so dominant.

There Dominant because people like to win...and they see/feel like they have to use these weapons to win

People feel as though they need them to win, that's why there are so many. Be nice to play PvP one day with not a single person using them.
