Dear Bungie, I love this game. I love my clan and the community they have built. You have done some things right, worked at fixing some things, and some stuff just plain wrong (no raid and no fixing AR's). I have to tell you straight out this time. If you don't let us keep ascending weapons throughout all of Destiny 1, in particular, TTK you will lose me forever. I have to think that I am not the only one who feels this way. I have been bored for months. A few months before HoW and then within 2 weeks after HoW. PoE destroyed our raid group from only being a 3 man and not being a true raid. PoE is OK but it is no raid. Would be cool to have along with a raid just not as the main feature of a DLC. I have some weapons, fatebringer, that I love. I do not want to give them up in TTK. Also the weapons you are offering beforehand are not good, if the TTK weapons follow suit you may lose alot of people by not letting us keep our favorites. In any case, I am being patient. I am waiting to see what you are going to do. If you do not let us ascend I'm out. To many great alternatives coming to be so invested in your game. If you do let us keep on ascending I will pre-order the dlc. Thats my opinion and my stance. And yes I know that RPG's have expansion which normally make all current gear obsolete. Destiny is not a normal RPG and the ability to ascend will only add to the strength of this games offering and can in no way diminish it. If I want to use FB forever I can but if TTK has a new gun to use that I fall in love with then....... thanks god. If nothing else it may inspire bungie to put more thought into their current contents weapons then they have in the past 2 DLC's.
