I don't have a problem with the rating for the game or the age of the players playing, and an age limit wouldn't change anything because age can be falsified or younger players could have mom/dad/older sibling, etc., set the account for them. The only thing I would have a problem with in this regard is the parents who don't know what they're getting for their child. You better believe that before I buy video games for my kids, I will know exactly what content is in those games and exactly what the online community is like before they'll be able to play them. My parents always did that for me. Not to mention the fact that my dad always played the games with us (Still does for that matter, plays Destiny at age 60! Look up The Old Guy and see it for yourself lol) and I'm already playing video games with my kids too. My kids are 6, 5, and 4. They play Disney Infinity and stuff like that, but they enjoy watching me play Destiny or Halo. The very first thing I did from the moment they were around me while I was playing is have a conversation with them about what's real and what's not, what's allowed in real life and what's not, etc. My kids understand explicitly that Destiny is just a game and the stuff that you do in the game you are NEVER allowed to do in real life. And I repeat those lessons to them on a regular basis. Honestly, half the social issues we have in America would be fixed if all parents made a DELIBERATE and CONSISTENT effort to communicate with and educate their own kids. It's the absentee parents that result in the litte kids on Destiny you're describing.
