Destiny should not have PvP
First let me say that destiny has been one of a handful of games I've sunken an insane amount of time in. And I've done everything the game has to offer and then some.
I personally feel that destiny should not have pvp for various reasons. The majority of forum post are pvp related and all have one thing in common complaining. It's ridiculous I can't scroll 2 post without seeing nerf this buff that and the thorn post.. It's insane. The servers are garbage the lag is unreal, trials were a good idea until people wanted rewards so bad they had to cheat. That's all fine and good but bungie is investing to much time and effort into the in my opinion "worse" side of destiny. Cmon iron banner what are we on now 7? Why not another queens wrath kind off event? Why not any other monthly pve event? Why do they invest on the pvp side of things so much? This game will probably never be an mlg, gamebattles game. The current state of pvp feels more like call of duty then anything and I left CoD because of the SSDD it became ridiculously boring. Bungie won't remove pvp but they need to focus on pve a lot more in my opinion.

3 RepliesI disagree, as a pve player there should be a pvp side but the two sides should be completely separate, this is where they made their biggest mistake. They've proved with the shotgun buff that they can separate the weapon nerf/buffs so why don't they do it all the time? Before release during many interviews deej stated that you didn't have to play both sides of the game if you didn't want to.........he lied. I am glad that the pvp side has a proper end game of its own, just a shame people feel they have to cheat in it to win. My answer to you is do what I do, if you don't like pvp don't play it

1 ReplyWhilst I agree there should be more PVE events the majority of the complaint you have is to do with the people who play the game rather than pvp itself.

1 ReplyPvp is good and all.....except for the lag. And the same maps. And the non-imaginative game modes. And there only being three guns being used in pvp. And the "Elite" players putting non-flawless down, despite their scrubby tactics. And the general repetitive nature of it all. Yet I'm still going to end lives in IB. Much more fun doing absolutely anything else in Destiny though.

1 Replyi agree, if bungie focused on PvE stuff more and add a lot more things to do, people wouldnt need the PvP to still be playing. like WoW, they have so many raids and stuff to just go around and do that you dont have to do the PvP

I'm not talking about a frustrating area where you have to dismantle mines and dodge 1 hit kill boomers which is what prison if elders exactly is I am talking about a plain old arena with no mechanics besides spawn more and stronger enemies after every wave and maybe modifiers

1 ReplyI don't get why people say this game is unbearably laggy. Yea sometimes some fishy stuff happens, but it in no way makes it unplayable. There isn't anymore lag in this game than any other shooter i've played. Halo had laggy matches Battlefield had laggy matches Call of Duty had laggy matches But Destiny ISN'T allowed to have it and they are horrible for having it!

3 RepliesPvP has a place, maybe the not the overly emphasised one that has been placed on it in year one of this game, but it should be there. While being far from my favourite game mode I wouldn't want to ruin the fun of people who do enjoy it.

1 ReplyIt should have PvP, but, PvP should be separate from PvE, look at how many weapons have been ruined in PvE from PvP nerfs. Second they need dedicated servers if they really want to focus on PvP like they've been doing, not this broken laggy shit we have now, and have had since day one.

3 RepliesNever let the complainers get under your skin. Especially if you disagree with what they say. PVP ha never been leggy for me, and I really do enjoy it (even IB, hello etheric light). PVP - It's fine for what it is-- a release valve for when PVE gets to become a grind, or boring, or whatever.

It really doesn't affect the rest of the game, so who cares that it's part of the package? I play both for double rewards. I do think PVE needs more spontaneous love though. When the wolves first started dropping on patrol, that really freshened things up. We were having a blast, especially using VoG to run 6 man teams on those wolves. More stuff like that every month would really brighten up the PVE realm, and also, we need 6 man patrols!

Also I like how you've been responding to all the negative feed back in a non-aggressive way, instead of getting all pissy like most people do.
