I just watched two amazing videos about ideas for the crucible to make it more fun overall. [u]First of all these are not my ideas they are the youtubers so I am not taking credit for the ideas I'm just spreading the word.[/u] 1. Elemental Burns in the crucible. Make a gamemode in which you can get normal things like control or skirmish... But also add in burns. [b]It wouldn't be like the PVE burns at all.[/b] More of like if Arc Burn is on then Arc Damage weapons do 100% normal damage and if the weapon isn't Ark then it will do either 50-75% normal damage. So this wouldn't make instant kills it would lower some weapons for one game. Maybe next game is Void Burn so the Fatebringer wouldn't be the best option. Faction Wars Make a gamemode that come occasionally like Iron Banner where you choose one of the three factions (Dead Orbit, Future War Cult, or New Monarchy) and you get a class item that makes you part of that team. This would be any gamemode (including an exclusive one) that where you go in and have to win for your faction. Say your part of Dead Orbit it would have Dead Orbit Bounties and special gear for that faction. Make the bounties different than iron banner type bounties though because those get old. Once you pick a faction you are stuck in it till the event ends so if a different faction is selling better stuff then tuff luck you picked your faction. You can only start matchmaking with a fire team if everyone is in the same faction. So choose wisely. Make it to where all games won world wide are kept track of and go on a counter and first faction to a set amount of wins wins the war. Private Crucible Games Must I say more. I know I would love to be able to play just with my friends to see who is better. And just to answer this now for people concerned about farming for bounties and xp just have it turned off while in private crucible. No XP no item drops no bounties. All is fair that way.
