You have used the Bible as evidence. Until you prove the bible to be accurate, all of your arguments are meaningless. Prove that the bible is accurate, then maybe I'll start taking you seriously.
I'm not quite as educated on this subject as Britton, but I've still managed to destroy all of your arguments with my 10th grade education. If you really did major in biology, as you claim, then your professor is an utter failure and should resign from teaching forever.

I have made no claim that carbon dating is accurate. OP said that the Bible would not allow enough time for evolution to occur. OP's argument therefore hinges on the validity of the Bible.

He found it to be a few thousand years old. If you've got Netflix, watch episode seven of Cosmos. The story is somewhere towards the beginning.

But again that's a person's guess, not what the bible says. Man has inferred many things into the Scripture that isn't really there. That's not a bible problem.

I don't need to watch it. If the bible does not say how old the earth and universe is then it's not a problem with the bible. I don't care what anyone says. They can add up dates or track historical events or whatever. If it's not in the bible then it's not a biblical issue.

The bible doesn't have to directly state it. Using things the bible directly states, it can be determined how old the earth supposedly is.

No you can't, because the bible is not written chronologically and every detail is not in there because it didn't need to be. The Scripture is there to lead us unto salvation through Jesus Christ and the more humans start adding, the further we get from that.
