False. It is not useless in IB and trials. I've made it to the lighthouse with Strangers Rifle as my primary.

You looked at my titan.... My hunter has a 1.7 KDR and has been to the lighthouse 10+ times... And regardless, my titan has gone to the lighthouse too. But my titan is literally my throw away character and used for storage.

No, I looked at your overall trials K/D and win ratio. On every character.

OK, well I have a positive KD on my hunter. Which is the only character I really use, so hate on whatever you want I guess. And it doesn't change the fact that I've used Strangers Rifle to get to the lighthouse.

Your level also decides how much damage you do. A 34 can get kills with a rare weapon easily, but a level 25 will just tickle you with the same weapon.

Not true. This is only in pve because power advantages are disabled in pvp. That's why this is such a good weapon in the crucible. A level 2 can kill you just as easily as a level 34

The weapon's attack rating vs. the enemy's defense rating is what determines how much damage you do.

Not exactly. Try using a 365 Thorn as a 34 and then try it again as a 20. That isn't the only factor.

You would most likely see little to no difference between the 34 and the 25 using the rare. In Crucible yes, but not Iron Banner. Even at level 32, Thorns overall damage is decreased and does 6 ticks per damage to an enemy lvl 34 while a lvl 34 does Thorns full damage + 7 ticks per damage to anyone lvl 34 or not.

Im using it right now in IB lol. Not useless at all. Youd be surprised. Its a 3 burst kill. More stable and higher fire rate than messenger. Its not better than messenger but its close...more fun...and the shock factor. You know people are pissed getting killed by it
