You had to beat it as a 29...you couldn't get the helm in the normal mode. So signed -Dottrawr
Edit: forgot you could have a exotic helm to get to 30..

I had the chest, guantlets, and boots and an exotic helm (achlyophage). Lv 30

Unless you had a 3 Legendaries plus an exotic helmet. Which was still a bitch back in the day.

Oh yeah. Even xur would be a dick about it sometimes too. Sell the same set of gauntlets or chest piece multiple times. Lol. Yeah VoG was fun best times in that raid. Especially Gorgons maze when nobody knew where the door was. Lol
