Before i start: this is my opinion & u can feel free 2 comment your own.
Thorn, brings back memories (bad ones). You see i don't HAVE a Thorn, but always, and i am NOT kidding, always in Trials of Osiris; its either Thorn, The Last Word or Hawkmoon. The problem with these hand cannons is that they're so OP, that every single team in the Trials uses them. And that is the reason i never, ever went to the lighthouse / or win a match in Trials. I know a lot of u guys out there who have these hand cannons don't want them to get nerfed, bc.....well, bc u got them &, as i said b4, they're SOOOOOO OP in PvP. The main problem is that other players that don't have one of these three hand cannons won't stand a CHANCE in Trials of Osiris.
The good (& this is only for the people who have one of these three exotic hand cannons) about these weapons is that u can easily one shot someone in PvP, and in PvE, their just beast. (except for TLW, that sucks in PvE)
The reason u should NEVER EVERR EVERRRRR use TLW in PvE is bc of its low ammo & u can't depend on "hip fire" on PvE.
DPJ (if u don't know him, look him up on youtube) made a poll & he sent it to Bungie, and i hope that Bungie understands that this should be nerfed ASAP (only the Thorn).
+ I didn't spell check ALL the words, so if u see a word that doesn't exist, just leave it.

I can certainly see where you are coming from NeoKiddo, but I think that higher lvl players should be rewarded for the time that they put into Destiny. I have been playing nonstop since like January, and I only just got Hawkmoon (the last weapon I needed to have every pre-HoW exotic weapon). I also think that part of playing Trials, or anything Crucible-related, is that you need to learn about the strengths and weaknesses of the weapons you have listed above. There are so many players that have so much experience in Crucible that they can use the weaknesses of these otherwise OP weapons (such as range) to their advantage. I also just want to say that Bungie already realizes that many of these weapons are OP - in fact, they wanted them to feel this way to players in order to defend the "exotic" name given to these weapons. Exotic weapons are the strongest weapons in the game, which is why you can only equip one at a time.
