Halo: The story between 2 and 3
Hi, could anyone tell me what books/novels i should read to understand what happens in between Halo 2 and Halo 3? I found out that Halo: The Fall of Reach is Nice read before Halo CE, and that Halo First Strike tells the story between Halo CE and Halo 2. So could anyone tell me what to read next, for the story between Halo 2 and Halo 3?

There are certainly some pretty cool events that transpire between Halo 2 and Halo 3 per say. That is if you count what was happening on earth while the Chief gave chase to the prophet of Regret. What takes place between Halo: CE and Halo 2 on the other hand (Chief wise) is something worth reading into. Searching up what happened is pretty easy but if you feel like reading I [i]highly[/i] suggest reading "Halo: First Strike".

Pretty sure there's a comic or something that tells what happened on the Forerunner Dreadnaught after it took off from High Charity and before Chief landed at Earth. Not sure of the name though.

Edited by OrderedComa: 7/13/2015 5:20:43 AMThere isn't one, it just goes straight from the end of Halo 2 to the end of Halo 3, so you're not missing anything. *Edit: The closest to what you're looking for would be Ghosts of Onyx, which is taking place midway through Halo 2 and maybe a little ways into Halo 3, but it doesn't really have much of anything to do with either of those two stories. It's about what happened to Halsey and all of the other Spartans besides Master Chief...IE, basically continuing their story from Fall of Reach and First Strike. Halo 3 doesn't have anything like what CE had in Fall of Reach or Halo 2 had in First Strike.
