Lack of Matchmaking brings in the elitist era of Destiny!

Gaurdians are being booted from fire teams mid-game after putting in hard work. ' Guardians are unable to find groups in the Prison of Elders and Trials of Osiris because of elitist requirements. With the house of wolves came a noticable shift in this community. We are now in a era of elitist assholes. The best solution to this newly created problem is to add optional matchmaking to all activities but Bungie refuses to listen to us. If you want optional matchmaking and/or to put an end to this elitism. I suggest creating your own post and bumping existing topics!

  • I don't understand how people find these LFG jerks. I play LFG all the time. Like, every PoE, Raid, and Nightfall since September. Out of the several hundred raids, nightfalls, and PoE challenges, I can count on ONE HAND the amount of "elitists" I've encountered. I've never kicked anyone, and have only been kicked once from anything, and that was because "their buddy just signed in, sorry" (douchey, but I just found another group. no worries.) Posting in a recruitment thread and expecting someone to invite YOU is foolish. Sure, it may happen, but you're assuming someone is going to take the time to enter your GT. Either start a post to host a group and have them message YOU for an invite, or start sending messages until you get in. Second, BE HONEST. If you're hosting, state what you want to do, and the "condition" you're in (no Gally, first time, need guidance, want to learn sword, etc.). If you get invited, be up front, and don't get ruffled if they're unhappy. Honestly, I invite the challenge of taking lower level players through nightfalls and raids. If I see a post looking for help, I'll invite that person over a "34 max everything" because there's some extra satisfaction potentially in store. One of my favorite things is hearing someone get their first Gally, and there are many like me. We are Legion.
