People that get a pet as an acessory or because its "cool" when they have no damn idea what theyre doing or how to take care of it need to be slapped. Hard. And banned from owning animals. Ever. Then slapped again. Even harder.

I think you will find that a closed handed slap, works better. We call it a punch. It's very effective at getting across your point: "you are stupid, stop being stupid".
