I mean Hard VoG, Hard CE's, Hard PoE all against A.I. Why isn't flawless ToO involved in the year one Emblem? Is it because it's PvP? Maybe because it's to hard for people, but still it is one of the big four things to do each week so why isn't it involved? I think it should be involved. Maybe not even flawless but at lest completing one passage coin with 9 wins doesn't need to be flawless . What do you guys think? Should it be included?
Please Bump it you think ToO should be involved.
Edit: And also for PvE I have never done a hard raid and I am going to have get through them. And then PoE on hardest is not going to be fun as I hate PoE. So I don't see why I have to go through something I hate and am not every good at (I will get through them tho) and all the PvE people don't have to go through PvP, I really think 9 wins in one trails run should be there, just to make in even between PvE players & PvP players.
Edit 2: To everyone saying that it is to hard to get to the lighthouse This is for the Bungie Update after the first week of ToO
"If you stood Trial in the Burning Shrine, step forth to be counted.
3,798,561 = Trials of Osiris matches played
118,627,301 = Kills (or Deaths, if your glass be half-empty)
188,442 = Players visited the Mercurial promised land
299,001 = Guardians scored a perfect scorecard"
So 188,442 made it to the lighthouse... in the first week...
Edit 3: A great idea for Mr Raaad who says that a minimum grimoire requirement might be a good thing to add as well, Say 3000.
Edit 4: To everyone saying that if Flawless Trials is there, then flawless raider would have to be there as well. I would love this as it would give me a reason to get good at PvE again.
Edit 5: Thanks to everyone who voted and commented
-
Actually, flawless raider is super easy. Me and 2 friends did it in like 25 mins, first try in Crotas End normal
-
Because people already complain as it is
-
You would probably see a sharp burst of more people trying to cheat on Trials if they add this... It's already there because of the high tier rewards/risk of difficulty.
-
To many butt hurt people who aren't good at crucible would freak that's why lol
-
PvP skills>PvE skills all day every day. I agree with OP
-
Edited by Shiloh Ivy: 7/9/2015 11:42:57 PMWell OP, we have a lot of unskilled PvE players here and their feeble skill set can't do much in PvP simply because they can't kill anything they can't effectively cheese. It would be impossible for some to do it. It would be too much butthurt, PvE players would throw a fit, they already have to win 100 crucible games. Oh the horror! The crucible is filled with cheaters, Thorns and Try hards! Translation: They suck. I guess the opposition to this idea just proves PvE players are unskilled bot killers. PvP player's skill > PvE player's...idk what to call it. It's not skill. The debate is over. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/136637885/0/0

Great idea mate. Platinum trophy should also be there
-
All the crappy people that can't get flawless voted no ha
-
So you want an emblem for going 9-0?
-
Honestly, it was the hardest and most exciting thing I did in Destiny. Should take place of the Golden chests in which no one ever cared about.
-
I would think it was not included due to all the lag switchers.
-
Well I hate PvP why should I have to do it to get legendary if they put ToO on there. You have created faulty logic on this post.
-
Wish and want all you want. Bungie isn't going to change the requirements.
-
Because everything on the list is fairly easy to accomplish for the majority. Too is imposible for alot of people me included. Personally don't care if Too was included, if I can't accomplish something in a game I will survive just fine. I'm not sure but is the emblem to show appreciation for being apart of Destiny or for being good at pvp?
-
Just not gonna satisfy everyone no matter what. You get an emblem for reaching the lighthouse already. If Bungie implement this then some other dipstick is gonna ask for Flawless Raid Runs to balance the ToO requirement, then another Destiny junkie gonna ask to add Flawless run on all 3:characters with ToO and Raids. It will never stop, heres a suggestion; why don't you go work for Bungie Destiny developement team so you can be crowned with the Bungie employee only Exotic Ship which normal guardians can't obtain. Or better yet try to get Fate of All Fools, which only one single player has so far. Like I said, its never ending and everyone won't be satisfied no matter what.
-
No because it wasn't a vanilla game mode and is actually new
-
Because it is full of cheaters and cry babies
-
No, I've gone flawless but it isn't a necessary thing to "become legend". It just means you have a thorn or red death as well as a somewhat competent team. Id be willing to agree with a certain amount of trials wins being one of the things, but with all the cheaters and cheap tactics used to achieve 9-0 it would merely frustrate most players who are a valued part of the year one community. Besides we already have our 9-0 snowflake emblem.
-
I love how you want something added when you yourself say you hate and don't want to do some of the current requirements. So your argument is invalid with that one statement.
-
All the PVE content is essentially available to everyone. It is feasible to get near 100% of the community through it through solid effort. It is only feasible for a small portion of the community to achieve flawless no matter how many tryhards are in it. It's not in Bungie's best interest (it's in there interest to maintain some percentile of happy gamers) to exclude all but the top 10% of players due to one event from the latest DLC from this recognition. Don't mistake Destiny for a PVP game. It is a PVE game with some PVP included but PVP is only a small portion of the content.
-
It's not about rewarding 5% of players, it's about rewarding players who have been active in endgame content throughout the year. If it was about the 5%, then Flawless Raider would be a requirement along with Flawless in Trials.
-
Because they have their own emblem. Lol
-
No! Just a whole lotta no. ToO 9-0 card nets you some all purpose armor and useful PvP weapons. Not to mention if you 9-0 weekly a truck load of Ethric Light. Why not just ask for a system of title unlocks like WoW did if needed constant reassurance is a thing for you.
-
Sure, why not but to be fair for PVE side, "Flawless Raider" should be add to the list too!
-
Edited by Fluwu: 7/8/2015 11:47:16 PMcomplete 100 games let alone winning 100 is going to rough for some people who really want the emblem. honestly its not that special and they arent going to add anything to it so just stop.
-
ToO is still stupidly broken. They can add it when they fix it... by 2018 it should finally have the bugs worked out.
