As my profile shows... I agree quite a lot with this.
We've been and are being nickle and dimed. Bungie is more concerned with business than the game they made, use to feel the other way around. Like the game came first and the business came later. In any case, I'm to the point now where I know this and if I decide to play more of this or not, at least I know where bungie is coming from.
I personally don't want to support aaa going in this direction or gaming in general for that matter. I think my Destiny light..... is going out.

You're not the only one who feels that way. There are MANY who agree with ya, bro. The sad part is, we don't even know how much of Bungie is still "Bungie" either. I mean Joseph Staten is gone. Marty got fired... Along with others. Like all the core people for Bungie are just gone now, most of whom are at least thankfully over at 343 Industries to continue working on the Halo series. Which Halo 5, not sure if you've been keeping track of it, is looking like a total badass. Its going to once more redefine online multiplayer like it did for Combat Evolved back on the original Xbox. If you haven't already, feel free to scroll through this thread to take a look at all the various videos I got posted up. I be bringing back the Halo love to these forums, lol

Yeah, I guess Bungie moved on and is something else today. I have a problem with the new Halo, like a few other games I have a problem with today. All this advanced movement stuff. From the original Halo to COD AW, Titanfall and Black Ops 3 AW.... I'm just sick of it. I know a lot of people will dig it but for me, I'm just sick of flying all around like a chicken without a head on, thrusting and boosting and rocketing... It's become a video game cliche in short order. Now when I hear any game has advanced movement, I lose interest really fast.

I didn't really encounter that in what I've seen for Halo 5, or any of the games to be honest. I mean, in 4 there was the Jet Boost thing, but that was an Armor Ability and I usually preferred Promethean Vision or the Sentinel Drone to help dominate choke points. And in 5 there is that downward smash, but that's more like an attack akin to the Titan's Arc Super. The video above is a full on demonstration of the combat in Halo 5. Its the most recent, up to date look at it that we have to date. Like I said, I mean it looks alright to me. I think they realized their problems with Halo 4 and decided to take the series back to its roots.

Looks fun but I don't think it's for me anymore. Looking more forward to Gears, more my pace.

You could also give Planetside 2 a try. *Points at the video* Its 100% free on PS4, don't even need PlayStation Plus to play it. Its very addicting... >>;
