Mostly because they've never heard of it, which in itself is strong evidence that it is in fact the most peaceful. It's followers aren't on tv spewing rhetoric or decapitating people, nor do they have a mascot such as Buddha who is a common fixture in nail salons and chinese restaurants. Go Jainism!
