I am super excited for this years upcoming games, particularly 2 that have hit the web hype train like a bat out of hell. The two for me are of course No Man's Sky and Fallout 4.
I have an appreciation for both that I would like to share, and see if you guy's are just as excited as I am, or if you have others.
First off, No Man's Sky is something I've been looking forward to ever since it first showed it's face on the web, the videos look amazing! It's a game that I feel would have been perfect as a pre installed game on the PS4. Even with little to no story, I could see my self spending hours on it just simply exploring.
Secondly for Fallout, this is a series I've enjoyed immensely over the years, Fallout 3 and New Vegas are definitely on my top list of favorites, and I can't wait to get my hands on 4, I'm a little hungry for Fallout to say the least.
That's my excitement, what's yours? Do you share the same or something else, sound off...

Edited by Bluefoxx3: 7/9/2015 7:39:46 AMI'm not sure about No Man's Sky, if it drags in the hardcore EVE type players or anyone that loves space adventure, then I'm sure they'll eventually start exploring planets that look exactly the same. Star Trek Online has this problem with the randomly generated planets when doing patrol missions taking place outside the explored areas of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Eventually you start coming across unexplored planets that have identical twins in terms of the environment the game has generated and alot of times you'll come across multiple duplicate surfaces, but only the planets remain visually different from space. Unless they figured out some sort of system in which every single planet that'll ever be explored within the games lifetime will not have an identical twin in No Man's Sky. I'll pass on Fallout 4, I never found the games to be interesting. The only 2 I was personally excited for was the larger reveal for MGSV: The Phantom Pain and Mirror's Edge.

You could play fallout 1 and 2 if you want more fallout in the meantime. Sure they don't play like 3 and Vegas, but they are still fallout. In other words they are still tons o fun, just stick with it.

No man's sky is going to be great. You should check out the IGN First for this month. They are unpacking no man's sky for the whole month of July with Sean Murray, the founder and lead programmer of Hello Games. I just saw their first video they released, 18 minute uninterrupted demo of the game. It goes without saying, but it was amazing. I'm going to buy/preorder the heck out of that game.

Both these games have caught my total attention since I first heard about them.

Excited for no man's sky, as long as there is enough diversity to keep exploration fun. Fallout 4 is just fallout 3 with a tower defence element it seems. Same horrible VATS system. Not too excited for that.

Same here; those are my top 2 anticipated games.
