Why is everyone hard for Vision of Confluence

Alright so this is my second edit. Things have changed drastically. I've used it quite a bit during PoE lately, and this thing has really grown on me. I absolutely love it now!! MIDA will always remain my favorite, but VoC is now a very close second. It just took some time to grow on me, but now I see what you guys were talking about. My original post is in the spoiler if you're interested.
Visions of Confluence is probably the highest praised scout rifle in this game. I have never seen such hype surround a scout rifle before. The majority would take it over the Fang of Ir Yût, and even the MIDA Multi-Tool. To be honest, I just don't get it. I was extremely disappointed when I used this weapon after hearing the hype surrounding it. Solar burn is cool, but not enough to make up for all of its shortcomings. First off, I think it's just not my style of scout. Scout rifles are by far my most used gun type in the game. Over 30k kills with around 73% precision. I prefer higher fire rate like the MIDA or B-Line Trauma. I also do not like red dot sights. I feel exceptionally uncomfortable using VoC, which is a foreign feeling to me when I'm wielding a scout. Secondly, the gun essentially has no perks. Let's take a look: Full Auto: Full auto on a low rate of fire scout rifle seems like the biggest waste of a perk space to me. I've tried the using the perk, and it made no difference at all. I'd much rather have literally any other perk than this one. People have said your finger gets tired.... I've played for 8 hours straight before using the MIDA, and my finger wasn't tired at all. Zen Moment: now on most guns, this perk is sick. One of the best in the game even. But on an already extremely stable scout, it's not even noticeable. VoC is probably the most stable scout I've ever used. Why does it need zen moment? Plus, scouts are already very stable weapons as it is. Again, I'd rather have any other perk than zen moment here. Middle perks: these aren't bad, but they're not great either. Single point sling, perfect balance, and field scout. Again I don't feel like I need perfect balance on a scout. They're the best handling weapons without it. I usually choose single point sling because it makes it feel a bit more like the MIDA, but field scout is probably the most useful perk. Even though I'm ok with a 19 round clip as it is. When I'm looking for scouts, I like for quicker reload perks, since I reload after each kill, and things like staggering rounds, third eye, rangefinder, and firefly. If VoC had one or some of these, I'd love it. But the perks on VoC are so useless, I feel like it doesn't have any at all. I'm not trying to be an ass or anything. I'm actually just wondering what makes everyone love this weapon so much. People specifically love full auto, which baffles me. The only time I use it is for solar burn, or if I'm fighting a ton of wizards. Otherwise, give me almost any other scout rifle before VoC. TL;DR: I think the perks on VoC are useless, and I don't like the fire rate or the sights. I'd take almost any other scout rifle before this one.
• The VoC is a great scout rifle but the rate of fire is a real bummer for me. Compare VoC to MIDA, and MIDA to wolves leash VoC looks pretty bad. Having said that I dont have fang of ir yut so its hard for me to compare the two in terms of elemental damage.
