Qodron was god awful who else agrees?
Just wondering if I was the only one that absolutely struggled with this boss this week. It just seemed that the qodrons gaze debuff was extremely unforgiving. Idk if I just suck or something lol.

Nope. I was too lazy to transfer my Gjallarhorn so I just used my Icebreaker... Wasn't hard at all....

I actually really enjoy it. It's punishing and I think more bosses should be. If you time the killing of the eye well it isn't to bad

Once you figure out the mechanics, it's actually quite fun and fairly simple. There are "purplish" Goblins called Qodrons Eye and if you kill one you get a 30 second buff called jail breaker which increases damage you do to the containment shields. Make one guardian responsible for killing the eyes and supporting with mobs while the other two focus on Qodron and help calling out where the eyes are. Stayed grouped together so the enemies converge on you, once you get "gazed" have the guy with jailbreaker bust everyone out, best to have a "super good advice" since hitting the containment shields won't cost you ammo. I found the area off to the right near a door that no enemies spawn from in the tunnels provides great cover. Just be careful, you can get teleported. Work together, call out the eyes, communicate, succeed.

Me and a buddy of mine two manned all 5 waves in 20 minutes. Never should've been nerfed IMO.

Quodrons gaze is so stupid. Destiny continues to get cornier and less fun. You have a limited time to kill the target even if he doesn't come to you you have to find him amongst a crowd. Then you get put into bubbles you can't shoot yourself out of. The ads are one shot criticaling you even if you have 34 titan armor with their line rifles. I HATE THAT BUNGIE CREATES ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY. Weight of darkness.Stuff like that.

I find using a gunslinger hunter with celestial nighthawk and using the scavenger skill in the skill tree along with gunfighter helps a lot. Golden gun with nighthawk can take out two bubbles so it helped when the eye wasn't around or the one who killed it died

Honestly I didn't have trouble with it myself but my fire team struggled hard to break a shield without buff. 1 clip of Found Verdict breaks shield without buff.

I dunno, thought it was easier than last weeks. All of my team was a first time attempt and we only wiped a couple times before figuring out when to shoot the eye.

The bad spawns for quodron's eye are the only irritating thing. Sometimes he doesn't appear til the bubble is already around you.

Soloed it using a Warlock with Ram helmet and POE chest armor with Vex armor buff made it bearable. I got tired of waiting to find people to do it with me which took over an hour of waiting and said f*ck it. The armor boosts had to have helped.

Qodron is bad because Trickle really is punishing if you make a mistake. Airborne would make the fight much more interesting and less aggravating.

use super good advice if you cant find the EYE. but i do agree, the eye is the most annoying part the eye tends to wander off in the map, not to mention the vex themselves are very spongy. the worst vex to deal with are the hobgoblins and minotaur mainly because tier 2 hobgoblins have around the same amount of health as a minotaur but with an invincible mode, and minotaur are just plain annoying because they are super tanks that can tele-port....

I had the same feeling about Qodron before his nerf. That pre-nerf Qodron almost made me and my fireteam stop being friends with each other.

I did it on PS4 with 3 G'Horn's and just burned him down in 15 seconds. I did it on XB1 without G'Horn's the "proper" way and finished it in a decent amount of time.

Had trouble finding the blue dude, but the fight was easy overall. Even without the buff I was able to hlast out of my bubble with my shotgun.
