No, it's fine. The short version is that three years ago a guy in a Dodge Ram 1500 with a brush guard ran a red light and slammed into my side of the van doing about sixty. My seat snapped off, slamming into my wife before bouncing around, stopping when I hit what was left of the windshield. I got cut out of the van with the jaws of life, send by helicopter to a medical facility. My right leg punched through my pelvis and into my torso; my face and arms were shredded; my lungs had collapsed and six of my vertebrae were cracked because the muscle tissue tried to tear away. Eight fingers had to be reset. It took three days to tweezer the glass out of my face and arms. They drilled a hole through my right leg setting it with weights to pull the leg roughly back in place. I was restrained with a respirator, had a grand mal seizure, and suffered mad hallucinations. In the end my right leg is held together by plates, pins screws and rods. A lot of nerves were torn; more had to be cut to put all the hardware in place. I can't feel most of my right leg, including the toes. I had to learn to walk again, from wheelchair to Walker, from that to crutches; then finally a cane. So I can't stand for very long; run, ride a bike or anything like that. I have to take pain meds like candy to get through the day. Thus, a comfy sofa for Destiny, and a cane to get around. Sorry, that was a little long winded.
