Both consoles are very good regardless of what you hear from any source. They both have their upsides and downsides. I personally prefer the PS4 because I like the Playstation exclusives better, and I also like the controller better than the XB1 controller. The difference in graphics is negligible although they are usually slightly better on the PS4. XBL is probably a bit more stable than PSN, although I think that PSN being down a lot is an overstatement. I think the interwebs blows that totally out of proportion like everything else. PS+ has generally been a better deal than XBs games for gold, but XBL seems to be catching up in this sense. A few other things to consider are that Microsoft just announced limited backwards compatibility with 360 games. You already play on 360, so the transition will be easier. Also, your Destiny profile will only carry over in the same console family. With all of that said, I would recommend the XB1 for you. P.S. Congrats on becoming a dad...it's the best feeling you'll ever experience. Good luck!

  • Thanks for the feedback and congrats! I am pretty dang excited. Just wrapping up with the 1st trimester now. Unfortunately the "morning sickness" has been 24/7 sickness for my wife. Thankfully pregnancy safe nausea meds and B6 supplements help make it bearable for her. Really hoping it stops for her at the 12-13 week mark.

  • It probably (hopefully) will. My wife was lucky and didn't suffer from that too much. She just had an aversion to eating any meat. Mostly veggies and water. It was weird. The next few years of your life will be a blur. My daughter is about to turn 5 and it feels like just yesterday that she was born.

  • My wife had the same thing with meat. I guess it's their bodies way of telling them they have enough proteins due to the extra blood and placenta. Funny story, before we knew she was pregnant, we were sharing one of our shared favorite sandwiches (tri-tip, bacon, onion rings, etc) from a local sandwich shop and she pulled the bacon off her half and handed it to me and said "here, you eat this." After eating the bacon she handed me, I told her "I think something is wrong with you". Later that week we took the pregnancy test and it was positive. Haha Fingers crossed on the "morning sickness" thing. I guess somewhere around 30% of all women will continue being sick throughout the entire pregnancy. I can't imagine what 9 months of borderline needing to puke would be like. She says she doesn't even remember what feeling normal feels like anymore. =|

  • If you ever are in Scotts Valley California, visit the Scotts Valley Market. Get the Mountain Man sandwich.
