I'm a ps4 owner, but I would tell you to get xbone because you already have a history with Xbox and you don't have to start over again. I would say it's a better family oriented system as well. Play station is focused on gaming and you're about to have a family now so go with the family console. Plus it's cheaper! Ps: psn doesn't go down nearly as frequently as people suggest.
