Xbox One will soon be backwards compatible(sometime around fall), and you will be able to transfer your characters. However if you want to continue playing Destiny and GTA on the one, then you would probably need to buy them again. Same thing goes for the Playstation. However if you switch to Playstation, you will need to restart on Destiny, I don't think it is the same for GTA however. Also if you are going for graphics then don't listen to any propaganda that many people throw at you. Both of the consoles have the same power in graphics and both of the consoles have their own large collection of exclusives.

  • They don't have the same power in graphics if you are a computer builder you can read the full specs and see Sony has a slight lead, but buying it for graphic is mostly a bad idea cause your TV won't keep up with either console for less then 2k right now.

  • Exactly. And that's the reason I said there is no difference, it's kind of pointless if you buy a console for graphics when a pc can double its power. But since this guy wants a casual console I said they make no difference.
