The POTUS does NOT take the stock market to it's record point. The American people, and world events dictate that. The best he can do is remove stupid regulations on trading and business. Also look up a historical chart for the DJIA. It is generally steady in it's climb, Obama nor any president dictates the value of a stock, or set of stocks. Nor does he create jobs, again the market creates jobs, the best thing he can do is let the market be unbridled, and more jobs will be created.
