Lol, why not? I'd spend my marks on that, even though i don't need it. Unless bungie has a better idea for marks.

You don't like all the shitty gear that's for sale by the vendors? You don't want a shitty rare sparrow? You don't want to spend them on materials? Yeah, me either.

Not gonna lie...making a legendary sparrow is legit, quite a bit faster than the current offerings. Yes, I made a couple back in November/December when i had nothing to spend marks or coins on....that's how fast the game got repetitive and mundane.
