For all of you misinformed people, Destiny 2 has already been confirmed. They said that early this year. The 10 year contract is for them to make Destiny games within those 10 years. They confirmed character transfers as well.

We're talking about Activision. Advanced Warfare barely came out last year but here we go with another one announced half a year later. Activision will milk Bungie. Destiny 2 will come out either early 2017 or late 2017. Destiny will not last long. They have to make more. Within that 10 years, another set of next gen consoles will be made. Activision will make a new Destiny game for those consoles too. They need a Destiny 2 to clean this mess of a game up!

So...10 year contract with Activision? No way they're getting outa that, I would think. Unless the game base dropped off a ton within the ten years. All the people that are begging for them to go somewhere else have no hope.

Gotta think bro. In 10 years, we'll have another set of next gen consoles coming out, probably less than 10. Destiny will not continue for 10 years. They will need to make sequels to keep up with console progression. Activision is going to milk every ounce outta Destiny. But hey, at least there'll be character transfers.
