I check to see if it is possible to mess with the camera.

Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/12/2015 5:58:40 AMIt is, and with a menacing glare at the feed, you cut it to static, and the operators jump and curse. "HACKER!" Trouble is on the way. Ready yourself.
-
I use my Pad to calculate a route to The Sewers, and take it.
-
The route leads you to a nearby sewage cap, sealed shut by welding. What do you do about this?
-
I check around if I can siphon data from anything.
-
A shady looking man in an ugly sweater, jeans, and a beanie sits against an alleyway wall in the distance, rocking back and forth, probably high. A Cyber-Junkie? Let's find out.
-
I approach him. "Hey!"
-
He shoots a glance at you. "Huh?!" the man grunts, and starts to clumsily get to his feet. "Whaddaya want?"
-
I check to see if I can drain data from him.
-
In his pocket, you see a small plastic case. You sense that there are there are data-chips in there. You can either buy it from him or take it by force.
-
I immediately smack him with my gauntlet, knocking him unconscious, and take the chips.
-
Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/12/2015 5:36:07 PMThe man slumps against the alleyway wall, out cold. You slip the case from his pocket and click it open. 6 data-chips are contained, and just three of them can make a super-punch, while all six can make a palm-laser. You may siphon the data from the chips by crushing them in your Gauntlet.
-
I crush three, then punch open the sealed opening.
-
Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/12/2015 5:52:22 PMThe sewer cap buffers beneath the punch, and with an echoing CLANG!, it hits the shadowed floor of the Underground. As you break it, you remember there are Police coming your way. Shall you make a run for it into the sewers, or attempt to cover any evidence of your presence near the camera you cut off? If you wish to try to cover yourself up, notice these obstacles: -The sewer cap is dented heavily, suggesting a Hacker's Gauntlet struck it. -The junkie in the alleyway is unconscious, and if the Police wake him up to interrogate him, he could give away your last location.
-
I go down in the sewer, but put the manhole cover back upside down.
-
Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/12/2015 6:43:44 PMNow that you've done that, the sewer cap has small hills growing on top of it because of the dents you made, if seen from the surface, so that could still raise suspicion. But, it's better than leaving and entrance to the Sewers open. You are engulfed in shadow. The only light-source you own is the dim blue glow of your Tac-Pad, which buzzes to tell you that your waypoint to the Sewers has been reached. There is a flashlight application on your Pad, which could come in handy in a place like this.
-
I use the app, hoping to shed some light on the situation, and proceed forward.
-
You enter a sewage tunnel, and you walk along the metal ramps that lead up the sides of the sewer river. At the end of the tunnel, a downpour of sewage from a higher pipeline rains down to fill the stinking river you passed by. Beyond that, two maintenance tunnels are open to go through. Do you choose the left or right tunnel?
-
Right.
-
You go down the right tunnel, and it's not long before you reach the end of it, where a ladder is built up the wall and into a higher level of the Sewers. But then you see something that makes you nearly jump out of your skin: A man's tuxedoed corpse is slumped against the bottom of the ladder, his head... blown up? His head is gone, leaving a ragged stump of flesh for his neck. The grey matter and blood of his brains are scattered all over the floor and up the walls. In his limp, dead hand, is a carbon-fibre brief case, locked shut. What the hell happened here?
-
I check the briefcase, and try to open it if possible.
-
It is locked, but you can open it safely by unlocking it with the dead man's Tac-Pad by finding the lock application.
-
I open up the Tac-Pad, do some bip-bopiddy bopin', and open the suitcase.
-
Inside, you find a golden-framed T-29 Quantum revolver ((new entry to Weapons database)). It has an eight-round cylinder, each slot containing .357 Slugs. Inspired by old western six-shooters, the hammer can be flicked back as rapidly as you pull the trigger to create fan-fire, rapidly firing your bullets at a target as if it were full-auto. Hot damn, are you lucky.
-
I grab the shit out of that.
-
Now you have a great weapon to fend the Sewer mafias off and the Police force. Speaking of Police, you hear a distant metallic rattle over the slushing of falling sewage behind you, accompanied by the hum of conversation. Better climb that ladder, bub.
