I feel part of the reason is that they took away the big maps. I'm not sure about you, but I think that it should be a priority for us to get all the maps, big and small in the same playlist

Take Cauldron and Asylum out of the Control playlist, add back Bastion, First Light and Skyshock (without the vehicles)
-
Why would you get rid of vehicles?
-
With Control being objective based rather than kill-counts, having access to an Interceptor or a Pike is a massive advantage for players that want to prey upon people trying to play for the objective. The vehicles are much more suited to being in Combined Arms, in which heavy ammo spawns more frequently and kills matter, so taking out an enemy vehicle is a greater priority. A Sparrow, however, is completely fine by me :D

Just out of curiosity, did you get destiny from previous experience with halo, cod, or neither
-
I used to play CoD, but ended up stopping due to how much I loathe its community. As for Halo, I've been a long-standing fan for around 7 years - my second favourite game franchise of all time (behind, believe it or not, Pokémon)
-
Pokemons cool, anyway, if you played halo, then you should have a fair understanding of how vehicle gameplay works.......hmm. Oh well, as for your point that control is objective, I'd say yes and no. Controlling the zones are important for victory, but you're still required to kill almost as much as clash to get victory. Not to mention most of the control points are walled off from vehicles and the ones that aren't have very lethal turrets
-
That is very true. I haven't played on those 3 maps much since they were removed from Control, so I'm sure the way people play on them has vastly changed without my noticing.
-
Sadly, most of the people go there for the wide sniping space. There are rarely any massive battles for B in bastion or any fights inside A in first light. It pains me to see maps that were once so fun to play be reduced to a stagnant range fight
-
Any advice for Skyshock? It's by far my favourite map but never shows up, being subject to players not having TDB when playing Combined Arms.
-
Skyshock is in rotation for everyone just like cauldron and pantheon. No dlc required
-
I probably should have remembered that, it must be the painful commonness of Cauldron and Pantheon making me forget that they're DLC maps
-
Yea, they do show up a lot don't they? Anyway, that's one reason why it'd be good to have both small and large maps in the same rotation: more map diversity
