A wolf will eat its pups if it is sick or too weak.
Like you said, stars move through space. But good luck finding anything relevant in it when you search it up.

It is common knowledge that wolves eat their pups on occasion. The fact that dogs do it kinda implies that wolves so it considering that does aren't an evolved species but instead one that was selectively bread. That trait had to come from somewhere.
