So i really don't see that happening with consoles, they will just come out every 10 years or so with more powerful specs like they have been. Also Sony is not bankrupt, they are losing money yes but that is as of a whole, their console department is actually making money and keeping them afloat and is why they are currently willing to spend more than microsoft on getting exclusives currently
