Are people really still short on etheric light? I believe nothing will change and it will be obsolete with ttc. Added to the speakers material exchange

No it's not there was a screenshot of a level test that showed up to 150

I must've missed that. But it's believed there will be 10 more experience levels, bringing the exp cap to 30 rather than 20. Add 6 more light levels to armor and 50 makes the most sense

Not really short on Elight but when a thread like this is getting no attention from bungie it just pisses me off. They should pay attention to players that can not get Elight as easy others players. But what pisses me off the most is players who say they have enough Elight complaining about others needing it and trying to find ways to get it, it does not effect these special snowflakes game play at all if they make Elight easier to come by for others

I have this crazy belief that everything should be accessible to everyone in this game. Regardless if that players owns the DLCs. Notice, I said accessible, I didn't say EASILY accessible. You could argue that E-Light is technically accessible to Non-DLC players via IB and Nightfalls. But the droprate in Nightfalls appears to be laughable and IB is such a horrible chore. I grinded the last IB and hated every second of it. I'll likely do it again at the end of the month. But I hate chores. Just ask my mother how likely I was to do them growing up.

I have ran 27 nitefalls and not seen one Elight drop and I got a clan mate who has the same record. We laugh about it cuz we are 54 nitefalls and 0 Elight drops.

I've had one. And It's been the only one I've seen drop ever from a Nightfall. I haven't run 27 of them, though.

I believe there are still plenty of people who aren't able to get as many as they need. I, for one, didn't buy any of the DLCs. So, I'm left to hoping for a drop in Nightfalls when I'm not locked out and then grinding like an asshole in Iron Banner. I, too, fear that the ability to ascend old gear will go by the wayside when TTK comes out. Which is silly. But that's another rant.

Honestly I think you going to be in major trouble when ttk comes out if you didn't buy any dlcs. The level cap is rising to 50. nightfalls will probably be raised as such. You will still be able to be crucible but iron banner will be impossible...

50 is not the highest they've shown but if ur going by biggest number you have seen it would be 150 light

150 light on gear or as a light level. 50 is the highest they've shown as a level

I just can't justify spending more money on a game. Even one I enjoy as much as this one. When HoW dropped, I set myself up to be in a pretty good spot. I had max vanguard marks, max glimmer, all my characters were leveled to buy stuff from the vendors and were right at the cusp of leveling them again, cryptarch was near leveling on all my characters, i had tons of blue and purple engrams saved up. I hit 32 that day. I only really jumped into PvP when I finally broke down and bought Xbox Gold. I hate it. PvP for me is the worst. If the new cap is 50 I may just bow out of it until I can be competitive.
