Not that I'm denying it. But I don't think that a pencil going 20 miles an hour could kill a mouse.

They would just make a big round hole. Impaling is using a point to make a hole. Balls can't impale.

A pencil is sharp though a lax ball is round and dull. And at that speed would crush a mouse.
