Explain why you chose that weapon and which perks you'd use with it. If yours isn't listed name it and explain it. Please remember this is for PvP. So which would you take to Trials pretty much.
Mine would be Pilgrim with Braced Frame, Third Eye, and Headseeker.
EDIT: Wow the Messenger is up to 67 votes already and in 2nd place only has 33. But nobody has explained why it's so dam good? I've never gotten to use it, kinda wish I could.
EDIT: Guess I should've added Praedyth's Timepiece instead of KAU8 Scar. Don't think the results would've been much different tho.

Messenger vs Hopscotch Pilgrim These are the differences: Range: 59 > 45 --> Advantage The Messenger Stability: 68 > 59 --> Advantage Hopscotch Pilgrim Reload: 62 > 53 --> Advantage Hopscotch Pilgrim Aim Assist: 50 > 35 --> Advantage Hopscotch Pilgrim Equip Speed: 50 > 23 --> Advantage Hopscotch Pilgrim Plus, Hopscotch Pilgrim can be reforged. I rerolled a Hopscotch Pilgrim to have The Messenger's perks. Having used both of them quite a bit, Hopscotch simply outclasses it. The stability advantage is more important than you'd think, and the extra 6 shots in the magazine is a huge advantage. Aim assist is very important, and Hopscotch dominates in that as well. Range does seem to affect targeting at long distances, but for almost all encounters, it doesn't play a role. Plus the increased spread on The Messenger means you can't use it effectively at long range either. If someone can come up with a good argument for why The Messenger is better, I'd love to hear it.

The Scar/Allfate archetype if we are talking at shooting at a hunter, or mid to low armor guardian. The faster 2 burst kill is incredible. Coupled with reactive reload to 2 burst anybody like Hopscotch, its quite a force to be reckoned with. The higher impact rifles are more forgiving though, so its preference at the end of the day.

Which strike playlist are you still able to get Hopscotch in?
-
Hopscotch pilgrim by far
-
Thorn
-
None. Time on target with headseeker, perfect balance, and glass half full beats them all. it even outguns thorn, hawkmoon, and tlw if you have perfect aim and tlw ads bug doesnt proc and hawkmoons luck in the chamber doesnt.

People saying The Messenger is better than HP are full retard.

> no strangers rifle. Nope.jpg

Edited by Derrial Book: 7/16/2015 3:17:41 AMHmmm I guess I'm the odd man out, I like skorri's revenge, I am trying to get a hopscotch pilgrim but so far no luck. I really like to switch to skorri when not using bad juju or red death. Guess I'm new heh

The all fate will still 2 burst kill and has a much better rate of fire as messenger and if you want you can rerole it to have the se perks as the messenger with a few exceptions in the center row
