Mabye if we find out what fallen house they were associated with we can strike their vital strongholds. The vanguards were at their tables placing tacks all around a map, most likely for scouting teams. We ran in, myself out of breath and Noble still walking upbto the vanguards. I swear its like the guy dosent have lungs, "Excuse me sirs but me and my friend here have Intel on the faction" Noble said standing in front of the titan vanguard. I walked over still breathing heavily and put a hand on Nobles shoulder, "Hes correct, we believe that there is a fallen house they are working with to grow their numbers" i say berathing like i had one lung. "Do youbhave information on which house?" the warlock vanguard inquired. I looked at Noble, "no not exactly but at the outpost we infiltrated i saw the banners of a fallen house, exile mabye but im not to sure" Noble says to the now skeptical vanguards. They all looked at eachother and looked back at us. The hunter vanguard stepped foward and motioned us to look at the map. Noble and i look down at the map we now recognized as Old New York. "This is where most of their troops are located, and our top scouts have noticed alot of fallen movement here as well. We cant send you there but we do know that the more outer outposts here in Old Michigan have been seeing fallen activity as well." the vanguard said pointing at the pinned areas. "So you want us to investigate Old Michigan?" i say looking up to the vanguard. "No, your going to watch for fallen movement near Old Michigan in Toronto. If you can get one of their skiffs and commandeer it we can have our warlocks study them more closely, see what makes them tick." the exo said looking up at us. Noble and i nodded at him and stood up. " its settled then, lets go get our team and head to Toronto." Noble said walking out from the vanguards room. "Oh and one more thing, bring back prisoners, we need to question some of these fallen" he said as his metalic voice echoed throughout the room. This was going to be one interesting day. *** "Its been quiet for the past hour now, when do we get to shoot shit?" Toshiro asked sitting on a highrock with binoculars. We had set each other into three teams. Toshiro and i, Cat and Kieran, and Jellal and Noble. I was somewhat concerned with Toshiros armour color though. He wore New Monarchy standard armour and kept the red and white tint. I was somewhat paranoid hoping his comor wasnt too obvious. My armour however was old vanguard class gear in a black tint. All of a sudden the sky began turning purple and the sky looked as if it was becoming warped right behind us. "Ketch coming in from slip space everyone get ready to hijack the nearest skiff!" Noble exclaimed as the ketch jumped into view. We all ran into cover to hide from the ship. I noticed one skiff land particularly close to us below the cliff Toshiro and i were at. We looked at eachother and realized what we should do. I turned on my comms to contact the others. "Toshiro and i are going to take this one you guys prepare for evac." i said as we ran over to the edge of the cliff. I looked over and saw the skiff right under us. "We jumping?" Tosh said looking at me. I nodded at him and prepared for mt decent. "Uhh you sure? Mabye it will rise a little closer?" he said with a slight trembling in his voice. I looked at him and nodded. He sighed and as he turnt around i grabbed him and pulled him off the cliff with me. He screamed for a short time and we landed on top of the skiff. "Dont tell anyone about that..." he said as he rose up. I smirked ar him and headed for thr hatch at the head of the ship. I pulled out my ghost and he began working on getting it open. "Tosh cover the ghost theres fallen on the way towards us" i say as two more fallen skiffs come towards us shooting light shock rounds at us. I noticed the markings on the ships were much different from any house ive seen. For now i disreguarded it and began shooting my auto rifle at the fallen hanging on the other two skiffs. " Tosh you got any rockets on you?" i say taking out my Gjallarhorn. He nods while shooting his weapon and tosses me two rockets. I load my weapon and aim yhe tracker at the first ships core. It was right between the two turrets and all i had to do was steer the rocket into it. I aimed it at the core and shot the rocket at one skiff blowing it into blue flames and shrapnel. The second ship began charging its main cannons when the ghost got the ships hatch open. "Tosh get in and make the ship take evasive maneuvers before we get shot, and keep one vandal alive." i say aiming my Gjallahorn at the next core. The ship took a fast swerve to the left and i fell making the rockets tracking fail. The other skiff missed its shot and i stood up as the ship made rocky maneuvers. I aimed my weapon at the core and shot before the ship took another quick swerve. The last skiff explodes in a incredible blue explosion, metal and fire laid across the flat. I jumped into the ship and sat down next to Tosh. "Be a little more careful next time buddy" i say looking at the tied up vandal on the floor next to me. "Lets go get the others and head back" i say laying back down. Like i said before, today was an interesting day. *** We arrived at the tower almost getting shot by artillery by the vanguards and landed the ship in the hanger bay for the shipright to take a look at it. The vanguards seemed pleased with our findings but that faded when we learned of the origin of these fallen. They were a new house, they had been gathering members from all other houses to raise their army. They call themselves the House of Skotos. In this case this faction is more powerfull than we suspected. They managed to sway a kell into their ranks who then began raising his army of alegent fallen. "From what i get out of this, they think that this Skotos guy is some sort of deity. Like their god" Jellal said as we sat over a balcony. He sighed, "i know we never had peace before, but im afraid that we wont have anything close to peace for a long time." he said with woe in his tone. I looked out the vast city and thought.
