Obtaining Vanilla and TDB Gear
I have been hearing mixed responses regarding how to get pre HoW weapons with the old perks like final round and field scout. Please let me know which ones have the chance to drop (for example) an older sniper like the LDR with final round. Is it from the engrams that you get from the strike or at the end game screen?

Tiger engrams can decrypt into Vanilla legendaries. Roc engrams can decrypt into DB legendaries. However I don't think you can get a sniper with final round through that means.

3 RepliesThey need to just put them in vanguard and crucible rotation. Although at a discount because they have lower light levels. It would make the vendors more like vendors since they now won't sell the same thing over and over again

It's just roc. Putting it in all caps implies that you're yelling or that you think it's an acronym.

4 RepliesYou need to get a blue engram to turn into a legendary item. The blue engram in question must be gained from the content released in the same DLC as the weapon or armor you are seeking. So if you want vanilla weapons and gear, grind out low level strikes. TDB gear is ROC.

1 ReplyEdited by anthrax99: 7/16/2015 10:04:19 PMim going to tell you the easiest way and here it is: go back in time (maybe try a vex time gate) and return to the time before the dlc (nov 2014 thru april 2015) and do vanguard strikes. the gear will drop for sure.
