That means you could get two per character every 2 weeks. On top of what you get from just playing the game. You would have everything maxed in 2 months

Go onto a weapon that is 331 go to the ascension button. It says increase to max attack available in year 1

That doesn't necessarily mean that these weapons won't be ascendable in Year 2. That was the highest level those weapons could be ascended to when HoW dropped. I wouldn't take that to mean anything more than that. We won't know for sure until we know for sure.

What will happen to our year one weapons if we cant ascend them in the TTK?

We will riot. Also, I think that's why they will be nerfing so much shit when this next update comes out...so our old weapons will appear less sexy compared to the new gear. If our old gear is less useful than the new gear, we will also be less likely to clamor for ascending our old gear. It's a conspiracy theory, for sure, but it doesn't sound all that far fetched.

No its not true. That was invented by salty little kids. Watch planet destiny's video about it. He was there when xur spawned. He spawned in without a weapon.

But why did he have no weapons? I'm not saying he spawned in with Gjallarhorn and then Bungie pulled it. But maybe they pulled it prior to him spawning in and just didn't replace it with anything. I just find it hard to believe that they were unable to fix the issue "safely." Whatever the hell that means. I agree that the theory was created by people who desperately want Ghorn.

It was a glitch in the RNG. And messing with it while a server was live and online would have potentially created more problems and bugs.

Maybe, but I also tend to think they're too lazy or too engrossed in launching TTK to care much about what happens in the interim.

If you have no problem getting enough Etheric Light than obviously this method isn't intended for you.
