As you all probably know, our clan now has a YouTube channel, personally seen to by Skizz. But we need content. Myself, Skizz, Sev and Mugnet have all got videos up already, but many others who have wanted to share their own clips of greatness have run into problems regarding video sharing. I'm going to attempt to go over how to upload clips from Xbox, through one drive, and onto the channel, and hopefully get more and more guardians from the clan involved.
1. All the clips that you have 'Xbox recorded' have been saved onto upload, an app on Xbox that you should already have (although clips do delete themselves over time if you have kept them too long)
2. Now, when you have enough epic clips, you can go ahead and download upload studio from Xbox store, a free app that lets you edit videos.
3. Once into upload studio, you can select 'add clip' and choose one of your many short clips that you have saved. Keep adding clips until you have a reasonably long video montage (2-3 mins seems like a good time to set your video around)
4. Once your video is all finished, click finish (obviously), then save it to upload AND one drive. It will take a decent amount of time to render and upload, depending on how long the video is.
5. Open up one drive on your computer. In my case, I already had a one drive account signed in, but you mad need to make one and log in. Once logged in to one drive, click files, videos, then Xbox game DVR. You should now be able to see the stuff you have created in upload studio. If not, you probably didn't save it to one drive.
6. Click on the video. It should play it, giving you one last look at how awesome your PVP skills are. Wiggle your mouse around a bit to bring down a small tab. Click SHARE, and a window will pop up, giving 2 options, invite people and get a link.
7. Click 'get a link'. I think both ways work, but this I have found to be easier, or at least a way that definitely works. Create the link, copy and paste it into an email, and send it to DevizeXB1@gmail.com, with what it is and who it's by. Skizz can then click the link, download the video and upload it to the YouTubes :D. I think emailing it to yourself is also a good idea, just to check that it worked, and to save Skizz and yourself the hassle of checking again, a week after you supposedly sent it.
Again, this is only a quick guide I thought up from memory. If you have anything to add (anything you know I got wrong lol) message me on here.
