Petition to save the Black Hammer from annihilation
For anybody who has no idea what this is about, Bungie announced in their latest weekly update that the white nail perk is going to be nerfed. Now, instead of keep getting three free rounds, it's going to take 3 rounds from your ammo pile. This is BS. Sign below if you want Bungie to keep the BH as it is.

Signed. With the nerf, Black Hammer is just a high impact sniper with a very fast reload IF you can land the precision shots. A lot less appealing than my 6-shot LDR.

I was against it at first but has anybody noticed how much health all the new bosses have? I remember back when a whole team of gjallerhorns/black hammers could crush the archon priest in seconds. Now it takes an insane amount of hits to kill newer bosses. And if your using a regular rocket launcher then forget it. Just something I noticed with house of wolves bosses. Anybody else notice this?

6 RepliesBlack Hammer nerf is justified. A weapon having an unlimited amount of ammo and an endless mag is ridiculous. The weapon isn't getting "Annihilated" it's getting toned down a bit. It's still going to have an 18-21 size clip if you keep getting critical shots which is still amazing and will still probably destroy a spider walker faster than any other sniper in the game. Bunch of babies.

Yeah. It sucks that they're destroying the gun. Datto gave his opinion to try and change people's mind about the nerf, but he was just saying a bunch of junk. Yeah, the hammer will be nothing special after the patch, but having a bunch of virtual signatures isn't going to change anything.

This is the only weapon change that I'm against. I don't mind the ice breaker change, pointless but still. The black hammer rewarded accurate players, now it's a pointless perk.
