Petition to Appeal Black Hammer/Ice Breaker Nerf
Sign here to make (or at least have a chance) to appeal the nerf!

Surely I'm forgetting something but man let me tell you if your ammo accounting is pulling ammo from nowhere it should be taken from your reserves.
Sound stupid? Good. It's supposed to. Lower the impact of black hammer. Make it so it can't stun lock bosses. Keep the perk that makes it useful. Stop making lame bullet sponge giants in circle rooms where long range pot shots can take them down.[/quote]

1 ReplyBlack Hammer is just another generic sniper now, bungie killed what made it special. Nerfing Ghorn's and Icebreaker's iconic perks also kill the weapons identities. These nerfs are obviously have the intention of making the community use the new HoW weapons and upcoming TTK weapons, but the new weapons have no desirable qualities like IB/Ghorn/BH. That is why players use them. Instead of nerfing the weapons that make Destiny, Bungie should put effort into making new weapons with desirable perks. Bungie, your new guns are simply not fun to use. Fix them before breaking the old ones.

I don't understand the black hammer nerf. It was just fine the way it was. If you made all 3 precision shots in a timely fashion you were rewarded. Now you will lose your reserve ammo for landing 3 precision shots, granted you won't have to reload, you'll run out of ammo insanely fast. I thought the point of black hammer was that if you missed, you'd lose ammo, if you were able to keep hitting critical shots, you'd save your ammo.

It's extremely irritating to hear about the god damn nerfs. This always happens, first they nerf something, realise, "oh -blam!-, we went too far" then buff to the max and then nerf again. I'm ok with Thorn and The Last Word being debuffed and Auto Rifles getting buffed but everything else is basically just debuffing good weapons that are hard to acquire, why make them so elusive if they're just going to be on par with something that you can easily acquire. Bungie needs to sort it's shit out and figure out how to fix this or risk disheartening more players by breaking they're prized possessions.

Signed. Without the white mail perk what is the point. They will be turning it into a three round sniper with a slow fire rate. And icebreaker...... If they are going to lengthen the charge time, then you should be able to pick up ammo packs off the ground.

Yeah fuk bungie. 5 second was fine. 8 is ridiculous. Now galahorns too. Fuk destiny. I'm out. Jesus where is fallout 4 and the division. They went too far this time. There was nothing wrong with icebreaker. I'm not buying shit now. The other weapon balance seemed fine except for lowering shotgun damage in pve. Fallen captains are hard enough to kill. If they don't fix pricing and extras for the $40 download and leave icebreaker alone I'm fuking done. And I probably have 2000 hours in this game. I don't even use icebreaker anymore unless I'm doing crota anyway. So I don't know why this makes me so mad. People don't pre-order shit! Please. I'll wait for more information. I love destiny but..... They better get their shit straight.

5 RepliesSigned. The only good thing they are doing is buffing auto rifles, NLB, Necrochasm, and hard light and nerfing thorn and fixing TLW glitch. Everything else is unneeded and just -blam!-ing stupid. The shotgun and the final round nerf is stupid and just added to appease whiny ass people who don't know how to play PVP properly.

I understand the black hammer nerf, it was a boss killer, still could be, but just not as good. I wish they'd consider adding in a 2nd change to the white nail perk. Maybe make it refill the mag taking ammo from the reserve, but also add one round to the reserves sort of like triple tap. Icebreaker the nerf is too much in my opinion. If they are going to do it, I agree with whoever said increase the ammo size. Or maybe make it 6 seconds. Idk. I love my snipers I hate to see them get weakened. Signed.
