The fact that you could shoot a nearly infinite clip made it a trolling weapon in Crucible as well as a lawnmower in PvE. By nerfing the Black Hammer, they're balancing Crucible matches against people who own it, and making it so that you have to make a battle plan in PvE instead of going in guns blazing. They're finally turning Destiny into a game that requires skill and stretegy, and not just a shooting gallery where the only requirement is half a million ammo synthesis...

They wouldn't have to nerf black hammer if noobs would grind the raids like the rest of us did to get it. Since HoW dropped it has been insane of the amount of people lvl 34 i have had to carry through crota because they have no idea what radiant materials are because they have never raided. And atheon noobs are even worse as that raid takes even more time when people dont know what is going on.

Dude nobody uses it in pvp. White nail is almost useless in pvp because of how hard it is to chain head shots with a sniper. And it has a really small mag size. There's a bunch of better snipers that can have more useful perks such as unflinching and hidden hand that also have more than 3 rounds in a mag.

The bh nerf will have 0 effect on how it will be in pvp. It's irrelevant if it's used a lot or not.

Never been killed with a black hammer in pvp. Nobody uses a sniper with only 3 rounds.

Been killed by it before, and on one occasion it was the only sniper in my inventory and I was to lazy to swap out. Recently, no so much.
