The fundamental problem with what they are doing is that they are trying to tune too much at the same time. When you change how all weapons perform, it becomes vastly more difficult to predict the new meta. What they should do is slightly change one weapon class and see how it plays out. If it works as intended, roll out the next weapon class change in 2 weeks. Otherwise, you tweak the first changes until you get them right before moving on to the next class of weapons.
Instead, we wait months to get wholesale changes that infuriate people who have worked to get perks or level up weapons based on the existing play style only to now have to go out and grind for different guns because they are the new Uber weapons for the next few months.
