Never used BH on Crota. Did use it on walkers tho. Having to fire so much ammo into ONE enemy was aggravating and BH helped to alleviate those frustrations of not having ammo when I reached the REAL boss, Sepiks or Taniks. Now I have to grind, ugh MORE grinding, for glimmer to buy special ammo synth to replenish the ammo burned on a mid-strike boss that's more difficult than the end strike boss... Yay!

Dude it only got like 4 extra bullets or maybe 6 depending on your armor load out. They aren't making the game better. They're punishing people for complaining.

Special ammo is usually around without much issues. And as I said, BH with more rounds + if you have more special ammo perk on armor will still do a shitton of damage because of its very high impact and you should have enough bullets to take down a walker as a team unless you are soloing a nightfall

Actually, only soloed a NIGHTFALL once. Phogoth. Prefer to play with teammates. But now the difficulty factor of soloing more just jumped. Especially if Bungie gets a hair up their butt and throws in Juggler.

And I agree with that. I found myself using bh and gjally all the time in pve...and now i can use a wider variety of guns. It shouldnt be too easy

All the perk does now is elimiate the reload animation. It's a worthless gun now. I might as well use my solar spear since it's going to be better in every way.

No, it won´t. It´s still one of the highest impact snipers that lets you deal huge amounts of damage without the needing to reload to stunlock a boss. Can you stunlock a boss with reloading ? The black hammer has the same impact as spear, better stability and worse reload (cancelled out with white nail) and the ability to deal loads of damage more quickly as the spear. So no, spear is absolutely not better in every way. And black hammer will not be a worthless gun.

My spear reloads fast enough to stunlock a boss actually due to my scope. 6 rounds and solar. I have more range on my spear. Unfliching and final round. Yes my spear will be better in every way except stability.

Range doesn't matter on snipers. And as you said it still needs to reload and has worse stability so it sure as hell won't be better in every way. And Black hammer won't be worthless as well. It will still be a better pve sniper than a lot of other legendaries. Sure BH won't be the best chpice all the time. And why is it bad that BH isn't the best? I already said that it's a good thing. PvE loadouts won't be limited to one weapon combo and we will have more variety. There shouldn't be a legendary that outclasses every other legendaries in its class. Raid weapon or not.

The reload is only better if you land all criticals which is difficult at times. The only reason I'd ever use black hammer is maybe for the flame prince. And range does matter on a sniper fyi
