Better? No. Equal. An exotic arc launcher with say sticky shock mines that do DoT would be a nice alternative to Gjallar.

What if they didn't just nerf the wolf pack rounds but also nerf the damage. Thus it would be better

You don't get it. They are nerfing Gjallar strictly because too many people rely on it and not because it's too powerful. Adding a new launcher thats better than Gjallar would just be trading one evil for another. However if you add one thats just as good as Gjallar and make Dragon's Breaths track and have the solar flare stick then you have two equal options. Then you have the player base using a multitude of weapons rather than just one.

No, you don't get it. People rely on it, because it IS TOO POWERFUL and just the hype of gally will keep it alive. The only way to get them to stop using it is if they make one that is better then gally and then nerf it once the hype of gally has fully gone away. Do you understand now. Hopefully YOU get it now.

Thats a totally daft idea and it fixes nothing. You're exchanging one Gjallar for another which is not what Bungie is trying to do. They want weapon diversity, not uniformity. Giving the Gjallar equals would give players more options rather then solely relying on Gjallar.

When will you get if. I've not been saying they need to make and keep a Better gun then gally. But make one y rill the hype of gally goes away then bungie needs the one gun to gally level. NOW do you understand. And my solution fixes more then yours.

No thats not a good idea. That still allows weapon uniformity even if it is for a few months.

No it wouldn't. As soon as word spreads that Gjallar isn't the only option it will become less and less hyped up.

That's the point. Then nerf the good one down to gally level without the people knowing.
