It's not that the black hammer was good or not it's just bungie increasing ttk thus making you play longer for no actual reason other than for them to look good on people's time spent on the game. It's not like they are increasing rewards or accommodating time spent to better rewards. Same shit just now will take you twice as long. Where's the fun in that? The black hammer is just one example of unneeded nerfs. What's wrong with ice breaker? It was fine as it was. Both guns were situational, like a nightfall with limited ammo; they were not overpowered.

there is no "brainwashing" involved, I simply enjoy the game for what it is, and sometimes there is fun to be had from actually feeling like a boss can kill you, not simply putting on BH and ending it before it even gets started. Where is the fun in rushing? and who cares if they dont up the rewards? you only need better rewards to play the same thing even faster. The gun balance was fine, oh no they want me to buy TTK for the new guns, ITS A COMPANY, THEY MADE THE GAME TO MAKE MONEY. Almost everyone will buy it anyway, so who actually cares? And you know what? it will be fun, players will enjoy it. $40? boo hoo, probably an extra 20-40 hours play time easy from new content and PvP maps. And of course they want you to use new guns, or why bother making them? Oh no, my fatebringer isnt quite as good, on no my sniper actually used ammo now? Well I guess my fun is ruined. I probably pre ordered the game like an idiot and gave bungie loads of money before the game was out even a day, but they want me to pay more a year later? oh no!
