Just a friendly conversation about how you think the new weapon balancing update may affect the PvP Meta...
Given the last weapon tuning update for 2.0.0 have a guess at what you think will be the new OP weapon in the Crucible.
Also, leave a comment on why you think so.

Mulit tool!
-
Hard light , mida multi tool and maybe necrochasm.
-
Autos all the way. Have to wait to see if high or low RoF will be better. I predict low fire/high impact.
-
Suros round 2
-
The ram
-
Celestial Nighthawk.

Hard Light
-
No land beyond. It has the fastest ttk with only one headshot. OP right?.......
-
The new weapons for TTK will take over whatever they are and all year 1 weapons will be extinct
-
After reading the update notes again, I think maybe No Land Beyond will be used a lot more. Fixing the Parallax issue with the scopes will help a lot and it might now be able to one-shot a revived enemy with The Master buff.
-
Necrochasm will be a good crowd clearer for sure. Exciting to actually use it. For PvP, the top dogs will be Last Word, Hawkmoon, Red Death, The Messenger(and other weapons of its archetype), MAYBE Hardlight and Thorn. Thorn won't be two shot death machine but it'll kill in 3 shots and be great at holding off important map positions. (Apply DoT, discourage them from engaging. Secure position.)
-
It will be either a green or blue because all the legendaries and exotics will be nerfed to shoot marshmallows
-
They should just take exotics out of pvp give them elemental damage and make them usefull in pve. Then no need to nerf the shit out of them
-
Hard light... Why is it not on the list? Increase base Stability to 80 (was 65) Hard Light projectiles are not affected by Damage Falloff Seriously though it's the only AR that will do the same damage no matter how far away. I'll bet within a month of the patch the nerf herders will be crying nerf again.
-
Hard light will -blam!- everything, i swear
-
TLW. They fixed its bugs and lowered its stability and range, but I still think it's gonna dominate the crucible, but at a lower rate. I use it, so I'm pretty guilty.

Hardlight,

I'm really looking forward to trying to test a bunch of weapons in PvP after update 2.0.0. I have a feeling that Scout Rifles will feel more powerful, but have a fear that Red Death and The Messenger will still be among the fastest Time To Kill weapons. As a long time fan of Scout Rifles I am looking forward to the new update. There were places in PoE 34 where one shot from my Scholar would leave enemies at about 1% health and in PoE 35 where two shots would leave them at about 3%. So, the 5% buff on AI damage should change this to one-shot and two-shot kills. And with the increase to base magazine size The Scholar should have a clip of 15 or more after 2.0.0. I'm very excited. Now I'll admit The Scholar (Adept) is my favorite weapon in the game right now. It reminds me of The Aries Nemesis X4 that I used all the time until I got a Fatebringer. In the current state of the Crucible I can go positive using The Scholar, but only barely - about 1.2 - 1.5 k/d. Not the usual 2 - 3 k/d I get using Thorn, The Last Word, Red Death, or The Messenger. I'm looking forward to trying it after 2.0.0 goes live. Even if it isn't the most powerful weapon I might use it all the time anyway.

Hard Light. It already is a beast (at least for auto rifles) its stability is being buffed, and no damage drop off for projectiles.
-
Did... Did you read the buff to hardlight?
-
Red Death or MIDA. It's all that's left now.
-
Thorn will still 2 shot people most likely
-
Swag regime or the MIDA
-
Strangers rifle
-
Purple ball...
-
Mida multi tool, fang of ir yut, vision of confluence in both pve and pvp. I also predict that people will almost never equip an exotic in pve anymore because all the exotics have now been nerfed so they are weaker or on par with their legendary counterparts. I don't see myself using any exotics in the months to come. I see myself using scout riffles, ldr, and hunger of crota/Hezen vengeance.
