Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/17/2015 2:57:38 PMAll Bounties have been taken up already. Would you like to accept one, anyways?
-
I accept The Family Blade.
-
Alright. You are being contended by Phantym right now, so hurry. Ordinance has been placed on your Tac-Pad to Marconi's Vault. Get to the Sewers.
-
Well I'm kinda right by them sooooo...
I head back into the sewers from the vents, and head to the vault
-
You traverse through tunnels and reservoirs, past a few shanties, and finally come upon the Marconi Castle. The large structure is built at the bottom of a large, dried-out sewage keep, and is made up of rusted metal, plastic, and glass. It is all held up well, and Marconi goons patrol upon balconies and scaffolding, Kriksboc-19s and M-26 Carbines toted in their burly arms. The Castle is in front of you, and you are in a small sewage pipe leading into the keep. The goons do not notice you.
-
I slowly make my way to the entrance
-
The guards see you walking towards the entrance. "Hey! What are you doing here?" one shouts at you.
-
I come here with news of the Rabbits, they are planning an attack.
-
They all shift in their positions. "Well... Why the hell would they send you here? You're just some pretty boy with a prossy arm."
-
Whatever, I'm just trying to help you... I walk back out. I wait a bit and then quietly slip around the side, looking for another entrance of any sort.
-
The guards have their attention trained on the tunnels you came out of, while you sneak around to the back. You see a back doorway on a second-floor balcony of the structure leading inside. But how will you get up there without making noise against the metal floor and walls?
-
I look around for any possible ways to get up there, without using my KAP.
-
There is a wooden ladder up to it, which shouldn't make too much noise, but once you're on the balcony, you feet against the metal will.
-
I climb the ladder, and try to walk as slowly and quietly as possible through the door.
-
Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/17/2015 8:48:26 PMYou creep slowly, heel-toe, through the door. Luckily, no one hears you. You go inside. Torches light the inside of the Castle. You find yourself on an internal balcony overlooking the first floor. Below you on the first floor, Mafia goons and Sewer women make love on busted couches. Disgusting. You to the side to see a stairwell leading up to the third floor. Above you, you see the stairwell to the third floor.
-
the what?
-
Sorry, I fixed it. Don't know why it didn't enter.
-
I look around at the bottom floor, trying to see if I can see the vault
-
You get at every angle possible: no Vault here.
-
Crap. I head up to the third floor and look around.
-
You peek up from the opening in the floor to the stairwell, and see only a huge crowd of goons gathered around an arm-wrestle between two more goons. You suddenly have a feeling these guys aren't too bright.
-
Yeah they don't sound too bright.
I wait on the second floor, hoping for something to happen.
-
Edited by HickoryHamMike: 7/18/2015 12:02:45 AMOn the second floor balcony, nothing remains to happen. You do hear vicious cheering on the third floor, though. The arm-wrestling match must have been won. Suddenly, you hear a small explosion outside of the Castle, and the place rattles. Then a tinny alarm shortly follows the crazed shouting and screaming of the goons outside. What the hell is happening?
-
Dammit, Phantym.
I quickly run up stairs during all the commotion and draw my glaive in my left hand, and my combat knife in the right.
