How is a sniper with an 18 shot magazine worthless? If you don't want it, I'll take it lol

It will not be better than a spear with field scout. A 3 shot sniper is pretty weak. Black hammer was only good for bosses and sometimes yellow knights.

Exactly. It was already a niche weapon, so the nerf won't event affect it that much.

Wtf ru talking about? It's a powerhouse in the right circumstances and mediocre everywhere else. Now it will be mediocre everywhere. It went from being a niche high skill weapon to useless. These kinds of drastic changes to reward weapons is what will really turn off players. I grinded crota for a black hammer and got one within the first month. I was lucky enough to get a ghorn very early in the game so black hammer was one of the few weapons besides fatebringer or voc that I really really wanted. I used the hammer repeatedly and did not feel that using the weapon to destroy bosses was cheap at all. Everyone knew this perk on the gun would be used in the way it's currently used. If bungie didn't want us destroying bosses with it they shouldn't have ever released it.
