Petition to Appeal Black Hammer/Ice Breaker Nerf

Sign here to make (or at least have a chance) to appeal the nerf! Edit: This is a copy of a post from Mudkip Knight. Read it because it's true.

Since we have this huge problem of ammo coming from nowhere. By the reasoning of bungie we should also have: String of Curses perk should take from your reserves. Replenish perk should take from your reserves. Clown cartridge perk should take from your reserves. Triple tap perk should take from your reserves. Secret round perk should take from your reserves. Performance bonus perk takes rounds from your magazine and adds them to your reserves. Shoot to loot takes that much ammo from your reserves and adds it to your magazine. Mulligan perk takes from your reserves if it ever procs. Invective's charge time should be tripled. Super Good Advice perk should take from your reserves. Surely I'm forgetting something but man let me tell you if your ammo accounting is pulling ammo from nowhere it should be taken from your reserves. Sound stupid? Good. It's supposed to. Lower the impact of black hammer. Make it so it can't stun lock bosses. Keep the perk that makes it useful. Stop making lame bullet sponge giants in circle rooms where long range pot shots can take them down.

Edit: 30 Signatures! C'mon, Gaurdians! How can we become legend if the Gods continue to nerf our weapons? Edit: 140 Signatures! Keep them coming! Edit: 230 Signatures! Sign for justice, Gaurdians! Edit: 400 Signatures! Look at how many people don't want this, Bungie! Edit: 720 Signatures! Edit: 830 Signatures! Thanks for all the support! Final Edit: Thank you all for 1000 signatures! Please, keep this going, and maybe we can stop this nerf from happening!

The weapon tuning 2.0 nerfs. Probably Bungies plan all along. All year one weapons will be weaker and obsolete, once “The Taken King” DLC drops. The DLC will of course introduce a whole new set of year two weapons having higher attack values. Players will likely not be allowed to ascend any, legendary or exotic, year one weapons to the new, year two attack level. IMO, this is why Bungie has been virtually silent on this matter. They have seen the backlash in the forums where many players are not happy with the idea. Players have vowed that they would be done with Destiny, especially if they quite literally have to start all over again. Well welcome to phase one of this being done. The primary reason for this update 2.0 is to make all of your favorite year one weapons, not so great anymore. Of course there are other valid reasons for the update as well. However, they are pretty much nerfing weapons across the board, even ones that didn't need it. All things considered, I believe the primary under lying goal is to ease players into the changes that TTK will bring without turning them off to the idea of buying it. Bungie is hoping the nerfs will make your year one weapons less desirable, it will then be easier for them to separate you from these favorite weapons and make TTK a little more appealing than it would have been, had they not done this. Destiny lacks content, so they want to reset progress and make players grind out everything all over again, with a tad more content at a hefty price. Many are ok with that and say it is expected from games like this. Others are not ok with it. Either way, Bungie should just fully disclose what their plans are and reveal in detail, exactly what new content players will be getting for their $40.
