If you want to know why it's getting a nerf, it's because it's overused. In PvE there's close to no variety in weapon choice. Why use another gun when one clearly is more powerful? It's what happened to Gjallarhorn and thorn. The game is moving towards more diversity in loadouts, and that's not a bad thing by a long shot.

Forcing variety by nerfing in a loot based game is not a good thing.

bungies fault for making exotic weapons shit ghorn problem its same so now they are calling its op well why you made other exotic shit
-
They can create diversity by making guns that compete with the ones currently in game instead of messing with the ones that already exist..
-
The current ones are at unrealistic levels
-
They need to be more creative.. That's kinda there job..

It's better than "oh we made guns that are too powerful time to -blam!- them up!" I see the issue it just seems like they are taking the easy way out..

Easy way. This was the logical thing to do.

I'm not saying I disagree but taking the awesome guns we have all learned to use well and making them lame so we move on to the new guns just seems like they are heading sheep..
